A funeral plan enables you to protect your loved ones against rising funeral costs. It also removes some of the stress at a difficult time when you have just lost your loved one. We cannot take away the pain you will feel at that time, but we can deal with the arrangements which can be challenging and unfamiliar, especially in a foreign country.

No, customers purchasing a Funeral Plans Europe plan are not required to pass any medical tests, unlike many insurance products which will be rated and expensive, especially if you are older or have any underlying medical conditions.

Funeral Plans Europe cover cremation only. However, all plans can be tailored for burial, although the customer will need to pay the additional costs including the purchase of a burial plot.

Our Funeral Plans can be transferred into the name of another person. To do so, the plan purchaser needs to contact Funeral Plans Europe directly, who will then make the necessary changes to your plan.

Yes. There is a 14-day grace period to cancel your plan free of charge. Should you wish to cancel your plan after this cooling-off period, you will receive a refund of all monies paid less a cancelation fee of 495€.

The plan is designed for your life in Spain. We have also arranged like for like cover through our network of Funeral Directors in the UK.

No. A pre-paid funeral plan does not have a cash-in value. You are purchasing a future service at a fixed price that will be used at a future date, just hopefully not too soon.

If the plan is fully paid and your funeral is carried out by our nominated Funeral Director there will be nothing further to pay for any of the services described on your plan information.

 

Bear in mind this does not cover the cost of a wake or any celebration after the funeral - however  if the plan is fully paid and your funeral is carried out by our nominated Funeral Director there will be nothing further to pay for any of the services described in your chosen plan.

Repatriation is when your body is returned to your home country. Some people, for family reasons or for religious reasons, wish their body to be returned to their home country. Our Laguna plan ensures that your body is carefully returned home in line with all the legalities and regulations.
